This is a working privacy-policy draft and not legal advice. Consider having it reviewed if you need formal assurance.
Who is responsible for your information
Jo Cox-Brown, operating Death Bed Questions, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@nighttimeeconomy.com.
Newsletter signups
When you join the mailing list, your email address is sent to Mailchimp so Death Bed Questions can send a quarterly newsletter. Signup-source tags record which form you used. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter or request deletion by email.
Where Mailchimp stores information
Mailchimp acts as an email-service provider and may process information in the United States under its own privacy and transfer safeguards.
How long information is kept
Subscriber information is kept while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, a limited suppression record may be retained so further marketing is not sent by mistake.
Purchases
Purchases take place on Amazon. Amazon processes order and payment information under its own privacy terms. Death Bed Questions does not receive payment-card information through this website.
Analytics and cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. GitHub Pages may process basic technical request information to deliver and secure the site.
Your rights
You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also object to marketing or withdraw consent at any time.
Previous WooCommerce orders
Historic order records from the former WordPress shop may need to be retained for accounting and legal purposes. The appropriate retention period should be confirmed with an accountant or solicitor.
